Member Annual Statements are distributed to NYSLRS members each spring. Don’t wait for a mailed copy — get your Statement online instead! You can update your delivery preference in Retirement Online to receive an email when your Statement is available.
(Note: Retiree Annual Statements were made available online in February.)
Get Your Member Annual Statement Sooner
You’ll receive your Member Annual Statement sooner if you choose to receive it through Retirement Online.
To update your delivery preference:
- Sign in to Retirement Online.
- From your Account Homepage, click “update” next to ‘Member Annual Statement by.’
- Choose “Email” from the dropdown.
Check and Update Your Contact Information
Retirement Online is the fastest way to check your contact information and update it if needed. If you don’t already have an email address on file, please provide it so that we can contact you quickly if we need to notify you about important information such as a change to your benefits. Use a personal email address you will have access to before and after you retire, rather than a work email address. You should also make sure your mailing address and phone number are current.
To update your contact information, click “update” next to your email address, mailing address or phone number to make corrections.
Use Retirement Online to Stay Informed
Your annual Statement is a snapshot of your NYSLRS account as of March 31. For the most up-to-date information year-round, sign in to your Retirement Online account.

Printed Retiree Annual Statements for calendar year 2024 will be mailed to NYSLRS retirees at the address we have on file by the end of February. However, if you’re a retiree, you can sign in to your Retirement Online account now to access yours.
If you’re a member looking for your Member Annual Statement, the Statement for April 1, 2024-March 31, 2025, will be distributed this spring. You can also find previous years’ Statements in Retirement Online.
Can u email my Annual Statement for 2024. Didn’t receive in mail yet. Need for taxes. Having trouble logging into Retirement Online and cannot get thru on the phone for assistance.

I am the lawful widow wife and relic of a deceased member of the NYSLRS and I have been awaiting a response from your office since my application was submitted since the 16th January of 2024. Please provide me any the necessary information as a means of contacting the NYSLRS as all the other means they have provided online have proven futile.

If I agree to receive the annual statement online, may I receive a mailed copy, as well? I have not been receiving my pay stubs in the mail and would like to receive them through the mail. I did, initially, and then they stopped coming to me.
I, also, applied to have my time working for the city credited to my state pension. The case id number is 49459600 – Service Credit Purchase Application …date opened 4/11/2022. How much longer will this take to receive what that cost will be? Thank you.
If you update your delivery preference to receive an email when your Statement is available in Retirement Online, you will not receive an Annual Statement in the mail.
If you are retired, you can find your pension pay stub in your Retirement Online account. If you are still working, please contact your employer’s human resources (personnel) office.
To check the status of your request to purchase service credit, please message our customer service representatives using our secure contact form. Filling out the secure form allows them to safely contact you about your personal account information.
